My family and I stopped here in hopes of finding a good home style meal our last night in Denver. This black owned establishment will be my go to whenever I am in town. The food was amazing, the owner is very friendly, and the music really set the vibe. Tip: ORDER THE CORNBREAD 10/10!!!!
Being from New Orleans, it's incredibly hard to find good southern food in Colorado. I've tried several restaurants in the Denver area that advertised New Orleans cuisine just to be disappointed. Mississippi Boy is the closest I've found to the flavors I've been looking for. The food is flavorful. And I love the live entertainment and the ambiance of the cozy restaurant. I'll definitely be going back.
This restaurant food was so delicious and delectable. Let me tell you that it was the best soul food we experienced in a while being on the road truckers. We also enjoyed the wealth of knowledge the owner provided to us concerning logistics. Thanks so much and we appreciate the mouth-watering, homemade food and hospitality.
The food was amazing!! The atmosphere is so chill and inviting. From the smooth music, the art, food and restaurant, the owner, everything was such a vibe. The restaurant is in the heart of Parkhill!!! I love that and I loved the experience.This restaurant was beyond my expectations... definitely five stars!! The food was so good I'll be back for more !!!!
